Two men killed in separate incidents on July 4 and July 5 — one in a fatal motorcycle wreck and the other in a shooting — were identified Tuesday by the Pueblo County Coroner's Office.

On Monday, 25-year-old Dominic Andres Garcia was killed in a motorcycle wreck on Colorado Highway 96 east of Pueblo. Garcia was traveling westbound when he crashed into a guardrail, according to Pueblo police. Garcia reportedly was ejected from his motorcycle and died of his injuries at the scene.

His wife, Miranda Garcia, who is also the mother of his three children, is asking for help with final expenses for Garcia.

“If anyone can donate to help with funeral costs, medical bills, and family bills to help us get through this tragedy, anything is appreciated, and we are so grateful for any help,” she wrote. “If you can't donate, we appreciate the prayers.”

As of Wednesday morning, the GoFundMe has raised $1,875 out of a $40,000 goal.

Adam J. Martinez was found early Tuesday morning at the Harmony Ridge Apartments on Bonnymede Road with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to police.

Autopsies have been scheduled for both individuals and their next-of-kin have been notified, said Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter.

Pueblo police are continuing to investigate Martinez's death, which marks Pueblo's 17th homicide of 2022.

Anyone with information on Tuesday morning's homicide is asked to call Det. Joe Cardona at 719-240-0130. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 719-542-7867 or visit Information that leads to a felony arrest could qualify its submitting party for a cash reward.
